PRO.FILE supports the 2017 series of Autodesk CAD systems
Users of Autodesk’s discontinued Product Stream Professional (PSP) PLM solution can turn to PROCAD GmbH and PRO.FILE for a powerful and future-proof alternative to PSP. The product data and document system now also supports the latest 2017 series of Autodesk CAD systems. With this, PROCAD adds end-to-end product lifecycle management to the AutoCAD user experience.
The current integration yet again demonstrates PROCAD’s long-term commitment as a provider of PDM/PLM solutions for AutoCAD and Inventor users. PSP users will find that PRO.FILE offers a data management system, that meets all the requirements of the mechanical and plant engineering industries. As a multi-CAD solution, PRO.FILE also features interfaces to all major 3D CAD, electrical CAD and electronic CAD systems, all of which can be used in parallel.
In addition to the product structures, bills of materials, and drawings created directly in Inventor, PRO.FILE can also be used to manage any other product or project-related documents. Currently, more than 2,000 Inventor designers and more than 4,500 AutoCAD users leverage this consistent data backbone to create and maintain their project, machine and customer files. This system for interdepartmental document management is complemented by PROOM, an exchange platform designed to streamline collaboration with external partners.
